EPIC to host ‘The Evolution of Safer Gambling’ webinar for SG Week
EPIC Risk Management’s Safer Gambling Week centrepiece has been confirmed, with a webinar on ‘The Evolution of Safer Gambling’ scheduled for Thursday 16th November (4pm GMT / 11am ET).
Throughout the awareness week for all safer gambling activities, which runs from 13th-19th November, EPIC will be preluding our imminent tenth anniversary by publishing a series of features on how the concept of safer gambling has evolved during the ten years we’ve been in existence, and looking ahead for what the next decade may have in store.
To shine even further light on the discussion, four of our lived experience facilitators – Patrick Chester, Craig Cornforth, Alan Smart and Ryan Tatusko – will all be taking part in the exclusive webinar, which is open for anyone to attend and pose questions of the quartet.
In keeping with EPIC’s global reach, though Safer Gambling Week is largely delivered from a UK and European perspective, our British panellists Cornforth and Smart will be joined by two American representatives, Chester and Tatusko, so that we can provide a perspective on how the concept of safer gambling still remains in a state of development within the US, and draw comparisons between the UK/European and US approach to the subject.
The webinar is intended to offer something of interest to all audiences, with each guest’s experience of gambling-related harm also supplemented by their insight into how we’re supporting a wide range of institutions to improve their safer gambling practices and discussion on pertinent topics that are currently being discussed within the industry.
