EPIC nominated for the Barclays Entrepreneur Awards 2023

A successful period in EPIC Risk Management’s relationship with awards ceremonies has continued with news of a potential double opportunity to win at the Barclays Entrepreneur Awards 2023.

The company’s continued growth outside the UK – which has now seen us active in 28 different countries – has led to us being shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘International Expansion, Sponsored by Barclays’ category.

Alongside this positive nomination, we have also been given the chance to be put forward for The People’s Choice Award at the same ceremony, with your support invited please!

The business with the highest number of valid votes by the closing date of 12pm BST on Friday 29th September will be revealed at the central London awards ceremony on Wednesday 29th November.

All votes will be very gratefully received; likewise any messages of support endorsing our nomination using the event hashtag #BarclaysEA23.

The welcome news arrives at a similar time to confirmation that the company has also received four nominations for this year’s VIXIO GamblingCompliance Global Regulatory Awards, which ironically also take place on 29th November in London.

EPIC are in the running for two collective awards and two personal awards. As a team, we are looking to retain the Responsible Gambling Service or Solution Provider of the Year Award, as well as being listed as contenders to claim the Award for Outstanding Contribution to Safer Gambling.

The achievements of CEO Paul Buck over the first ten years of EPIC’s existence have been noted with his place on a four-person shortlist for the Award for Outstanding Individual Contribution to Responsible Gambling, while our director of safer gambling, Dan Spencer, is recognised as one of eight names being lined up for the Compliance Rising Star Special Award.
