EPIC appoint new Head of Business Development
EPIC Risk Management has today announced that Mike Holinski has returned to the business as the new head of business development. Mike will report directly into Martin Bland, EPIC’s director of business development.
Eight months ago, Mike was in charge of EPIC’s sports portfolio looking after the delivery across all sports programmes. After a short spell away from the organisation, strengthening his knowledge in other business sectors, Mike says he is delighted to be back and looks forward to getting stuck into his brand-new role at the globally leading gambling harm minimisation consultancy, admitting:
“I’m excited by the growth of the company and the direction it’s going in, going into more countries, territories, and sectors. Coming back to EPIC, my role in particular is to help to further develop that growth into those new sectors and markets and we want to be sharing our lived experience team’s stories as far and wide as possible.
“Returning to the business has been fantastic. Everyone has made me feel so welcome and many of the team are still here, so it feels like I have never been away. One of EPIC’s values is people and the wellbeing support here certainly shows that people are at the heart of the business and again, EPIC’s authentic values are another reason why I wanted to return.
“I’m really passionate about the importance of spreading EPIC’s message even further into some of the markets we aren’t currently working across and I’m looking forward to accomplishing that.”
Director of business development, Martin Bland added:
“I’ve known Mike for many years, so I’m delighted to welcome him back to EPIC. Not only does Mike have a great deal of knowledge in safer gambling, but he also brings a drive and determination that will be infectious for his colleagues and our partners. An experienced key account strategist, Mike knows how to help our partners protect their people and their business.”
