Quadruple VIXIO Awards nomination for EPIC
Following on from awards success at last year’s VIXIO GamblingCompliance Global Regulatory Awards, EPIC Risk Management have received a quadruple nomination for this year’s ceremony.
After coming away from last year’s celebration with the title of Responsible Gambling Service or Solution Provider of the Year, the company is now among the contenders for two collective and two individual awards.
EPIC are part of a 12-strong shortlist for both the Award for Outstanding Contribution to Safer Gambling and the Responsible Gambling Service or Solution Provider of the Year, which is the accolade we hope to retain.
On a personal note, the achievements of CEO Paul Buck over the first ten years of EPIC’s existence have been noted with his place on a four-person shortlist for the Award for Outstanding Individual Contribution to Responsible Gambling, while our director of safer gambling, Dan Spencer, is recognised as one of eight names being lined up for the Compliance Rising Star Special Award.
EPIC’s head of training and social impact, Sam Brooks, is proud to see that we are once again in the running for a string of prestigious titles, explaining:
“Though any company that is proud of making a social impact will never do it for the awards, nominations like this are always a very welcome validation that influential and knowledgeable observers see a real importance and value in our work.
“We were very proud of our success at VIXIO’s Global Regulatory Awards last year and it was a welcome message to our team that they have demonstrated quality in everything they deliver. It also ensured that our distinctive method of utilising lived experience of problem gambling to prevent future harm is recognised as a standard bearer to others.
“We extend our thanks to the judging panel for our four nominations this year and wish all the very best to all the contenders who will be joining us for the awards ceremony in November.”
The 2023 Global Regulatory Awards presentation will take place on Wednesday 29th November at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London.
